Documentary in the works!

Teri Hitt at Laughing Tiger Studio in Northern California. Recording a part for Dream Analog.

We shot a bunch of video and photos during the process of making this all analog record. It was 4 years in the making all and all.  I’ve been editing a short documentary about the process of making Dream Analog.

Recording Analog is quite different from the process of digital recording. I think it’s important to preserve analog recording processes for future generations. I hope more musicians will get to hear their music recorded analog and realize the “extra” benefits of recording this way.

Editing this is a high jump for me (to say the least) but I’m slowly putting it together. It will be released later this year.

Wishing you all the best in these strange and revealing times. Take good care of yourself. Lift yourself up through the chaos to a better perspective, a happier, more at peace state of being. That’s where you belong.

A story of awakening to a different perspective

The songs on Dream Analog came through over a couple years through the maze and haze of living life.
They popped through to the surface and waved.

There is resonance in nature and resonance in music that is recorded to tape. There is a feeling when you are connected to Nature. In a similar way, when you listen to an analog recording, which means you are listening to sine waves recorded on tape, you are getting more than any artificial environment can manufacture. You are feeling the air. There is air there. The real space is present in the recording.

To me analog means “natural”.

It’s about having a natural connection and connection with the Universal light of resonance so you don’t get lost in the machinations of unconsciousness and stay asleep forever.

With things going the way they seem to be going on the human material plane, the least you can do is continue to Dream Analog. Creativity and loving universal consciousness, the mother consciousness, always finds a way.

These are songs about the path to find out. To discover more about what this reality is and what we can do when we stay in our center with loving kindness.

There’s Something Special in Analog Sound

If you’ve ever listened to an analog vinyl record, you know there is something special in the sound
there’s a warm resonance that can’t be denied.
Sine waves are good for music.

Dream Analog was recorded to tape and then digitized for you to stream it here and on CD. The 180 vinyl was mastered by Bernie Grundman.
